Greater Louisville Cross Country will host the Pink & Blue Run for a Cause Saturday, Aug. 19, at Charlie Vettiner Park.
The race will feature 500-plus from 16 schools. Proceeds from the meet will be donated to the Kids Cancer Alliance, a Louisville based non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of children living with cancer.
Racing starts at 9 a.m. with a mixed high school 3K, which will serve as a practice meet. Then the elementary and middle schools take over, running one mile and 2K courses, respectively.
Runners are encouraged to wear pink and blue.
